The help pages describe the BREVA reflexa micro field console, app and firmware 0.5.x. Each page matches one screen of the app; the app’s ? button opens the page of the screen you are on.
The window
Section titled “The window”- Sidebar: the pages, the unit selector and its connection.
- Page: the current task.
- Status bar (bottom, on every page): connection, what the unit is doing (Sleeping until 14:00 UTC, Acquiring · scheduled session until 16:40 UTC…), position fix, receiver and modem power, battery, result queue, next session and next transmission, time zone, firmware and app versions. Hover for details, click to jump to the related page.
- Top right: light/dark theme and appearance.
Times: the unit keeps GPS Time (GPST = UTC + 18 s since 2017). The app shows UTC by default and labels every time; click UTC in the status bar to show GPST instead. Schedule times in the settings are always UTC.
Normal and Advanced modes
Section titled “Normal and Advanced modes”The app starts in Normal mode, which covers installation and routine use with five pages: Station, Schedule, Live, Sessions, Maintenance. Advanced mode (switch at the top; first revealed by holding ⌘/Ctrl + A
- D) adds Overview, every setting group, diagnostics and service actions.
Connect the unit
Section titled “Connect the unit”- Plug the unit in and start the app. With one unit, the app connects by itself; with several, choose one under Unit and press Connect.
- The status bar turns green and shows the unit state.
- If the unit has no valid time yet (just powered, no GNSS fix), the app sets the unit clock from the computer. A GNSS time is never overwritten.
A device listed as Unverified RP2350 device is not a reflexa micro unit running compatible firmware and is never used.
