Keep the defaults unless you are testing the processing.
- Sampling interval: keep Auto. A fixed interval may not exceed K ÷ RH max, with K from the fastest selected constellation (for example 192 m·s for GPS, 160 m·s with GLONASS), at most 30 s, and must be long enough for one arc of 4,096 samples to cover a slow pass across the elevation window.
- Peak-to-noise threshold (default 2.7) and reference amplitude (default 1.0 dB): arcs below them are marked Degraded and their sigma is widened. They change the label and the weight, not which arcs count.
- Minimum arc duration: 0 = default (two fringes).
The right-hand panels show the rules the unit applies and cannot be edited here: the RH search band and elevation window (edited in Reflection geometry), the height grid, the minimum fringes per arc, the detrend (polynomial of order 2 on C/N0), the minimum samples per arc and the gap rule.
How arcs are combined
Section titled “How arcs are combined”Every arc that passes the fringe rule gives one reflector height with its own one-sigma uncertainty. The session result is a robust (Huber) combination of the arc heights: near the centre it behaves like a weighted mean, and an arc far from the others has its influence capped instead of pulling the result. Weak and band-edge arcs are down-weighted, never discarded. More in Precision.
