Site & identity

Settings → Site & identity.
- Station name: up to 16 bytes; it appears in the app and in exports.
- Device ID: the unit’s identity, read from the board.
- Position: Auto (from receiver) is the default. The unit takes its station position from its own GNSS receiver; a unit moved to a new site corrects it by itself at its first good fix and logs station moved N m. Latitude, longitude and height above the WGS-84 ellipsoid are then read-only and show the source, accuracy and age (for example live fix · ±1.8 m · 11 satellites · read 5 s ago). The height above sea level is shown for information.
- Edit manually switches to Manual, starting from the current position: type latitude, longitude and height, switch the view to XYZ (ECEF) and type X, Y, Z in metres, or click the map or drag the marker. A manual position, once applied, is never overridden by the receiver; Switch to Auto returns to the receiver (then Review and apply).
A position within tens of metres is enough for the reflection geometry. The same control is on the Station page in Normal mode.
