Schedule (settings)

Settings → Schedule.
- Preset: Ultra low power, Minimum, Recommended, Dense, Continuous, as on the Schedule page.
- Sessions per day, duration, first session (UTC) and warm-up (time given to the receiver for a fix before recording).
- Follow the satellites (sidereal tracking): shifts the sessions by about four minutes a day, so that each session sees the same satellite passes over the water day after day.
- The timeline and the scheduling assistant (expected arcs, energy, storage and Iridium traffic) update as you type. All figures are estimates.
Guidance: sessions shorter than about 45 minutes rarely complete an arc; 60–120 minutes is recommended. Transmissions happen only between sessions, so a continuous schedule leaves no room for satellite sending.
The experimental autonomous run started by a power-on is described in Campaign.
